10th NRW Nano Conference
Germany’s largest conference in the field of nanotechnology, innovative materials and related application fields and markets.
Our Keynotes & Plenary Talk
Quantum Computing is a nascent technology expected to solve valuable problems that today’s most powerful classical supercomputers cannot solve and never will. By exploring quantum computers’ possibilities today, we are shaping the world of tomorrow.Dr. rer. nat. Dr. h.c. Heike Riel, IBM Quantum
Fraunhofer ILT.Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Constantin Häfner, Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT
Computational materials science is playing an increasingly important role in the development of advanced materials with unprecedented properties. The predictive power of the computationally-driven materials design is defined by the ability of modern computational methods to account for the interplay of processes occurring in materials at different time and length scales.Prof. Dr. Zhighilei, University of Virginia, Department of Materials Science and Engineering
Strategic Autonomy: Photonics critical Value Chains in the EU Policy EnvironmentDr. Lutz Aschke, President of Photonics21, CFO / CIO Carl Mahr GmbH & Co. KG
Three keynotes, one plenary talk, seven cutting-edge focus sessions, a panel discussion…
The internationally renowned NRW Nano Conference demonstrates North Rhine-Westphalia’s leading role in the fields of nanotechnology and materials science. It takes place every two years and covers a broad spectrum of interesting topics.
International keynotes and plenary talks will provide an insight into future trends and the latest developments in technology. For more a more detailed view on the current research and application of the different fields of expertise, a large variety of topic sessions ensures all visitors’ interests are covered. We invite experts to submit papers and secure a spot in one of these sessions.
Young academics present the results of their scientific work on over 100 posters in the poster exhibition. Learn all about cutting-edge technological developments and innovations of tomorrow.
The NRW Nano-Conference addresses technology transfer on the one hand and the promotion of young scientists on the other hand with the special program for Young Academics. In addition to the opportunity to present scientific work and to network with colleagues from other chairs or even future employers, the three best poster presentations will be awarded the “Young Academics Award”.
Young academics can still submit poster proposals until 31 March 2023! Klick here!
…a large exhibition of scientific posters…
…a big exhibition…
Companies and institutes will present their innovative products and services on the stands of the comprehensive accompanying exhibition. Get in touch with creative and innovative doers and develop joint strategies to keep North Rhine-Westphalia competitive as a business location in the future with new products, ideas and business models.
In addition, young entrepreneurs will present their innovative business ideas in the “Start-up Area”. This is where the companies of tomorrow present themselves, which are definitely worth a visit.
At the networking event on the evening of the first day of the event, the “Best Start-up Award” will be presented to the best start-ups at the exhibition. The presentation at the exhibition stand and a short pitch are decisive for the evaluation.
